Brenner Campbell
President and Founder
Richard “Brenner” Campbell founded the Military Housing Authority and owns multiple other companies involved in real estate development. He has been a real estate developer since 2001 and has now developed over $70 Million in multi-family and single-family subdivisions. His first project in 2001 was a 140+ acre Planned Unit Development in Waco, TX called The Lakes at University Parks. He also built over 175 single family lots, an apartment community for Truett Seminary students, and in the middle of this land he developed the $19MM, Class-A, Luxe 1300 which was a HUD 221d4 apartment community with 162 units. It garnered the building of the year in its class in the State of Texas in 2011.
Mr. Campbell joined the Air Force Reserves in 2010 as a Chaplain Candidate fulfilling his desire to serve God and country. He was accessed to Active Duty in 2014 and served on Active Duty until October of 2022. While on Active Duty most development work ceased; however he completed the final 99 single family lots at The Lakes at University Parks in the summer of 2022.
Mr. Campbell has also developed and built over 100 single family homes around the Baylor University campus since 2004 meeting the need to house hundreds of Baylor students.
Mr. Campbell’s last Active Duty assignment was at Cannon, AFB where he recognized the significant lack of housing for Airmen in the Clovis, NM area. As a needs-based developer, he decided to meet the serious need for new multifamily housing in Clovis and started Sendero; Clovis’ newest apartment home community in nearly a decade. He transitioned Sendero from being apartment homes to dorms for Cannon AFB after he was awarded the first-ever lease to provide off-base dorms for Airmen. This innovative dorm-lease collaboration between Sendero and the Air Force has become a highlight that multiple Congressmen and Senators have touted as an incredible cost and time saving mechanism that can solve the barracks/dorm crisis currently plaguing the DoD.
We are a team of dedicated prior military service individuals with legal, development, construction, contractual and finance experience.
